My friend Aneliesse and I were hauling the hooligans around. We had such a good time. I am so happy to see Jacob developing a close friendship with Drevin. They are so good for each other. We sent Ellyn home with Daddy after Jacob's party. I was sure she would be asleep in the car, but she didn't even take a nap Saturday at all. After we dropped the boys off at the afternoon party, Aneliesse and I found ourselves alone, no kids, no men, nowhere to go. What were we to do? We thought we might squeeze in a movie but they were all starting too late. I called the wonderfully sweet hubby who agreed to pick up the kids from the party and take them to our house so we could see a movie. Wow!!! A real chick flick without boys trying to figure out why they are suffering through. I haven't had so much fun in a really long time.
Jacob has also decided he needed a shaving set. He used his own money for the Transformer Shaving Kit and has been shaving almost daily. I think it is hilarious! These pictures are so sweet. Whatever made him think he needed to shave I don't know. I tried explaining that he didn't have wiskers yet, but he simply told me that it made his skin smooth. What was I thinking?
